We know that transparency is an important factor for trust. Here is a sample process.

1. target definition

Project goals are agreed with the customer, e.g. adopt or optimize data structure 1:1.
2. system architecture

What systems exist besides Akeneo and how do they work together? Do systems influence Akeneo through imports or exports?
3. data structure

Based on the legacy data and new requirements, attributes, product families and, if required, product models are defined and created.
4. data import

The customer's legacy data is prepared for import into Akeneo using the new data structure and imported in several steps.
5. quality assurance

The imported data is checked in Akeneo and readjusted if necessary. After that, the interfaces are tested.
6. commissioning

If all tests were successful, Akeneo and the interfaces are put into productive operation.
